Dr Tony Brancatisano is a senior bariatric medical practitioner, research scientist and surgical assistant in laparoscopic surgery at the Sydney Bariatric Clinic. He has over 18 years experience in both surgical and medical weight management. He is a founding member of the RACGP Obesity Management Network, a full member of the Australian and New Zealand Metabolic Obesity Surgical Society (ANZMOSS) and a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO). He has served as the GP representative on the ANZMOSS conference organising committee for 6 years. He regularly participates and presents at local and international scientific conferences, and committed to educating GP’s on obesity management. He is passionate about improving the lives of patients with obesity.
